Vesterinen Yhtyeineen<\/h1>\n

Vesterinen Yhtyeineen will return to perform in Juurikkasaari in the summer of 2026!<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Known for their amazing live shows, Vesterinen Yhtyeineen will return to perform on the outdoor stage of Juurikkasaari in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 on Friday, August 14. The band, which sold out their Juurikkasaari gigs in the previous two years, has new music this time, as the band will release their ninth studio album, Liian hiljaista, on March 6.<\/p>\n

The upcoming album is a celebration of big band playing together, a counterweight to mainstream producer-driven digital music. The album defends important things for the band, such as community, peace and love. As a counterbalance to the more serious new songs, the album release tour will of course also feature the band’s older masterpieces as much as the soul can handle. The ten-piece band, led by Tero Vesterinen, has some of its best-known hits including Kohti syd\u00e4npeltoja, Tummilla tiell\u00e4, Kukaan ei koskaan, Kolme hyv\u00e4\u00e4 vinkki\u00e4 and Onnellinen mies.<\/div>\n

The evening will also feature the rock band Oliver from Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, who will continue on the indoor stage immediately after the Vesterinen Yhtyein concert.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Getting to the concert<\/h3>\n

By car<\/strong> \u2013 Juurikkasaari can be reached by car in just 20 minutes from the centre of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4. There are a limited number of parking spaces at Juurikkasaari, approximately 150. There is an event parking lot in the center of S\u00e4yn\u00e4tsalo, which we recommend for those coming to the concert by car. You can find the parking lot by following the signs. There is a free non-stop bus from the park to Juurikkasaari and back. Those who need disabled parking can park in Juurikkasaari’s own parking lot.<\/p>\n

By bus<\/strong> \u2013 Buses no. 16 and 21 run from the centre of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 to S\u00e4yn\u00e4tsalo and back. We recommend this method of transport to avoid traffic jams.<\/p>\n

By boat<\/strong> – Our guest boat pier accepts visitors arriving via P\u00e4ij\u00e4nne. Please always use a stern buoy (no side moorings) so that as many boaters as possible can moor at the pier.<\/p>\n

By taxi<\/strong> – Jytaksi transports between Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 city center-Juurikkasaari-Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 city center for a fixed contract price. We will announce prices per direction during this spring.
