Juurikkasaari’s beach terrace – The best hangout place 

In the north side of Juurikkasaari, right next to the guest boat pier, you can find our beach terrace called ”Rantabaari”. There you can enjoy amazing food from the grill, cocktails, mocktails, other refreshments and many café products. Juurikkasaari is also an environmentally friendly Roope port -> Roope-satama. 

Juurikkasaari’s “Rantabaari” has been one of Säynätsalo’s favourite hangouts for a few summers. Many have even named the terrace as ”Finland’s most beautiful terrace”, and not for nothing!  

We’ll announce the opening/closing hours on our social media channels and on our website. 

Our Pommery Champagne lounge is also located near Rantabaari, where you can sit and enjoy the delicious sparkly beverage with a nice little snack. 

From Rantabaari, we rent SUP boards, canoes, and 1-2 person kayaks for everyone interested in paddling and boating. Renting takes place on Johku -> Johkun  

On Rantaterassi’ stage, many artists and bands perform in the breathtakingly beautiful Päijänne scenery. 

Next to Rantabaari is our guest boat dock, which welcomes all boaters arriving by water! 

The beach terrace will open again this coming summer 2024!
