Come enjoy great weather, food and music on a wonderful Wednesday evening, July 1st, at the Juurikkasaari Pavilion!

Tomi Leino Trio is one of Scandinavia’s most vibrant roots & blues bands. Since their formation in 2011, they have continuously played festivals and clubs in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria and Spain.

Tomi Leino – vocals, guitar and harmonica

Jaska Prepula – bass, guitar, backing vocals

Mikko Peltola – drums

 

All members of the band also have a long history of touring Europe with international blues artists.

The Tomi Leino Trio released their latest album, “Got Them Blues,” in September 2025.

Getting to the concert

 

By car – Juurikkasaari can be reached by car in just 20 minutes from the centre of Jyväskylä. There are a limited number of parking spaces at Juurikkasaari, approximately 150.

 

By bus – Buses no. 16 and 21 run from the centre of Jyväskylä to Säynätsalo and back. We recommend this method of transport to avoid traffic jams.

By boat – Our guest boat pier accepts visitors arriving via Päijänne. Please always use a stern buoy (no side moorings) so that as many boaters as possible can moor at the pier.

 

By taxi – Jytaksi transports between Jyväskylä city center-Juurikkasaari-Jyväskylä city center for a fixed contract price. We will announce prices per direction during this spring. When booking, please mention that it is a Juurikkasaari contract-priced order.
